If you've run into an issue but we haven't been able to figure out what caused it, we might ask you to get us some logs.
The most common kinds of logs we'll ask you to provide are UI State Logs. These tell us things like:
- Your account addresses
- Your sent transaction history
It does not tell us anything like
- Your private keys
- Your seed phrase
Just the same, you should only provide these logs in private to MetaMask service representatives, like here on the HappyFox support system.
To get to the logs, you'll need to open the top left menu and select "Settings", and then click the "Download State Logs" button at the bottom of that next view, like in the images below:
After you do this all you need to do is upload the file into a support ticket to email@example.com and we'll handle the rest from there.
